About

Warzone Airspace is one of the six special "Warzone" regions in the political simulation game Nationstates. These regions are special in their emphasis on the warfare aspects of the game, where many of the safeguards regulating "region crashing" are removed. "Region Crashing" is the practice of outsiders suddenly entering a region and forcibly installing one of their own as Delegate. Delegates are "leaders" of regions and are elected by having the most number of endorsements.

The Warzone Airspace you see today is about two things.

First it is a battleground for region crashers. One purpose of this region is to see how long we can defend this place from invaders and/or fightback if we were attacked. Joining the World Assembly (WA) and endorsing your Delegate (Currently Warzone Codger) improves the security of the region and helps us defend from raiding. Being a WA allows us to go offensive to battle other regions, though there are no plans to do so at present.

Secondly, it is a role playing and story making region. This is the main activity of the region when we are not defending ourselves from crashers. Our theme revolves around "life in the warzone" (naturally) and we make stories that fit the theme, such as the glorious battles and daily struggles. These stories may be based purely from one's imagination or be based on real in-game actions, such as our response to region crashers and WA resolution votes.

Stories are published as chapters (blog posts) you see on this site, and you can also extend the story in comments to these chapters. You can also write your own stories to be posted up on the site.

If you are looking, we invite you to join our region and if you have just joined, we hope you enjoy your stay and to see you participating in our activities soon!
